[WATCH] Forget Murder Hornets, 2021 Welcomes In MURDER Squirrels
Remember 2020 murder hornets, that was child’s play.
Some people living in a Queens neighborhood are afraid to leave their homes. That’s because there have been several aggressive squirrel attacks over the last few weeks.
Micheline Frederick is still bruised. Her bite wounds are healing after she was attacked by a squirrel one week ago.
She said the squirrel, totally unprovoked, went after her as she stood on the front stoop. A security camera image shows the squirrel latched on to her left hand.
Several of her neighbors have also been terrorized and attacked.
The victims have called the city for help. The Department of Health said to get a trapping company to come out, which they have, but so far the traps remain empty.
But so far no one knows what’s causing the squirrels’ aggressive behavior.
Maybe they were stung by a murder hornet and now they’re zombie squirrels?
