[WATCH] B.C. Boy With Autism Who Only Eats ONE Brand Of Discontinued Waffles Gets A Sweet Surprise
A nine-year-old from Surrey, B.C., his name is JERICO has autism along with extreme and complex eating challenges, and will eat virtually nothing but a particular type of maple cinnamon waffle. But earlier this year, panic set in when his mom JENNA learned the product, manufactured by a company called Nature’s Path, had been discontinued.
Well the company tracked down all the remaining boxes that were out there, and delivered them to her for free.
And, its gets better they’re working on a special at-home recipe for her. So when they do finally run out, she can recreate them.
So this week they delivered her that recipe, along with the necessary ingredients so the family can make the waffles for Jerico.
This actually happened last September to a Massachusetts Mom who also has an autistic daughter who would only eat canned SpaghettiOs with miniature meatballs.
Because of the Pandemic you couldn’t find them. Her community donated a bunch to the family, and the Campbell Soup Co. delivered 782 cans!
