[LISTEN] HERO SALUTE: Natalie From Lasalle Nominates Her Selfless Mom
NATALIE GIRARD nominated her mom DONNA GIRARD for the following reasons:
“2020 was a hard year on us all, and we have given salute to the front line workers and organizations but I truly want Donna to know how much she has meant to this response/pandemic. Donna is lead operations for the red cross isolation site. Throughout the entire summer and still continue at this moment, Donna and her team have been working on the pandemic response with the agricultural farm migrant workers. Day in and day out, holidays or not she has been there every step of the way helping people remain safe during this pandemic. During the holidays, she made sure to make everyone we were helping feel special. She has been a role model for me my entire life and I get the opportunity to work along side her and a group of amazing people who all have the same thing in common; helping others. She has been the heart and soul of our group, and I believe she deserves recognition for all her amazing hard work and dedication she has put towards keeping our community safe.”
