[WATCH] Dog Rescued By Stranger After Being Swept Away ❄️ In A Colorado Avalanche
A pair of backcountry skiers were skiing with their dog Apollo when an avalanche hit.
The dog, a 2-year-old retriever ran away from them above a steep slope, which triggered the avalanche and was swept over the cliff a disappearing into the snow. The debris was about 300 feet long and about 50 feet wide.
Then a nearby skier, a young college student joined the search for the dog. They used Prod Poles and all of it was capture on one of their Go Pros.
They almost gave up on the search, when the young man finally found a nose sticking out of the snow!
Remarkably, Apollo escaped a tragic fate and was okay, had a little bit of a limp, but its quite the video.
