Windsor Will Be One BIG 🌻 Sunflower Field This Summer!
Ukraine’s national flower will adorn several Windsor flowerbeds this year as a sign of support towards Ukraine.
After the success of last year’s ‘POCKETS FULL OF SUNSHNE’ initiative to honor health care workers, gardens across the city of Windsor will be blanketed with Sunflowers. This year, it’s in support of our Ukrainian brothers and sisters, as sunflowers are their national flower.
Thanks to a partnership with our City of Windsor Parks Department and Windsor Public Library, we can’t wait to “LET PEACE GROW”. I chatted with founder of SHINE BRIGHT YQG, EDY HADDAD this morning.
