Rising lettuce prices have created problems for Windsor restaurants that serve salads and other meals with lettuce. It’s not just Windsor. The higher prices stem from a drought in a major lettuce-growing region: California.
MUCCI FARMS has the green gold! In the spirit of giving, they want to help some local businesses with a few cases of their Ontario Grown Lettuce. This homegrown contest will pay it forward just as they did when a Toronto bakery posted this.
“Attention: Due to a shortage of lettuce. There is no lettuce in our sandwiches today.”
That’s the sign customers encountered when they went to grab a bite at long-standing bakery SanRemo in Etobicoke last Thursday. MUCCI FARMS delivered a bunch of their delicious Ontario Grown Naked Leaf™️ Living Lettuce!
