When you think of CHEERLEADING, it doesn’t come naturally to think of it as a popular CANADIAN sport. I just discovered NORTHSTAR CHEER, a competitive program that has enjoyed many achievements over the last 17 seasons. It’s one of 2 organizations of its kind this side of London. Two of their teams earned the opportunity to compete at the Allstar World Championships in Orlando Florida!
I had KAILYNNE on the show this morning as the team is looking to raise funds to get there.

The two teams that have qualified are Orion which is U16 Level 1 (16 and under) and Galaxy U12 Level 2 (12 and under). They have one more competition Saturday before they head to Florida in the beginning of May.
